Imagining London

I've been doing this increasingly lately (mostly when we're on a bus crowded with people and vegetables)...wondering how I'll feel on a tube or bus travelling to Hackney (trust me, it's much better travelling on these crowded buses - at least I'm not under a smelly arm pit!), wondering what gigs to go to, what's on at the movies and meeting friends ;o)

Then I see a family of goats crossing the road, somebody smiles and asks me if I'm same, same Lao and I know I'll miss all this travelling lark.

You guys'll have to help me out on re-connecting with London life again...you know, stop me from trying to haggle over a bus fare (come on, Ken, give us a break), getting out of the habit of speaking broken english and walking around with lots of tall people (I like Asia, they're same, same height as me).

I'm off now to see if there's an ice-cream Lao
